My general mantra is to avoid speaking over the phone. Therefore, your chance of success in getting in touch with me is much higher if you contact me through e-mail.

1. Commercial executives wants to see me for a potential sale: Please don't call me or don't walk in. Send me an e-mail. If there is an interest from our side, I shall contact you back.

2. Conference / Meeting speaker request: Please send me an e-mail. I usually reply within 48hrs.

3. Academic requests: If you are working in an institution/university/college/high school and want my service as a reviewer, examiner, committee member, please send an e-mail. I usually reply within 48hrs. Occasionally, some mails do get missed as they land up in the bulk mail/other folders. If you don't hear back from me within 48hrs, please send me a reminder by e-mail. My apology in advance.

4. Students: Those wanting to work in the lab, including for an internship position, please don't call me. Use the information on the Opening Tab and contact me following the instructions provided there. I reply to e-mails, irrespective of the age & experience of the student and his/her affiliation, only if there is an interest from our side to pursue the application further.

5. Student Innovator / Entrepreneur: I encourage all students and young scientists, irrespective of their age and affiliation, to discuss your ideas (if you want to). Please send me an e-mail.
